Madame Pelosi, Speaker Of The Mosque

September 6th, 2010

A few weeks ago Nancy Pelosi called for a Federal investigation of the people opposing the building of an Islamic terrorist victory mosque at Ground Zero, and the question is, why would Nancy and the President of the United States want and lobby for a muslim victory mosque in Manhattan. To me, the answer is obvious, but unless the Federales are reading this blog I’m safe enough. I believe Nancy Pelosi, Barack Hussein Obama and the radical left wing of the Democratic party want a muslim victory and a humiliated United States.

That’s just our Nancy

Nothing fancy

Just Pelosi

Being cozy

With the guys

Who want the prize

Of pushing sticks into our eyes

That’s what she does

The is and was

Of all Dem Libs

From Robert Gibbs

Up to the One

Who’s having fun

Just knowing he’s a one and done

The River

September 3rd, 2010

The history of the future is unknown, but so, ironically, is much of the history of the past. Little is known of the details of the decisions to make war, or peace, particularly among authoritarian regimes. Secrecy and speculation are at the heart of history. The real question is, was there actually a past? Did certain events actually happen? Is there a future? Or is the present all there is, all there ever was? Is there such a thing as time, or at the birth of the universe did everything happen at once? If everything happened at once, at the moment of creation of the universe, then we all are, in a very real sense, immortal. But perhaps there is such a thing as time, such a thing as a past and a future. If there is, then time is a river, and we are carried along by the tide, like it or not, to our ultimate destiny.

Time is a river, it flows without end

The past is forever, the present a trend

We swim in the river for some little time

Then out of the river and up the bank climb

Some say this is death, but others say no,

The river says nothing, continues to flow

The future is up there, perhaps past the trees

The river has already flowed past with ease

Past trees, lakes and farmlands the river runs true

For time has an ending, but only for you

The Red Death

September 1st, 2010

Edgar Allan Poe wrote a short story titled The Mask Of The Red Death, in which Prince Prospero ordered up a masked ball for the elites while the Red Death raged through his kingdom, killing the populace in horrible ways. Poe wrote this short story in 1845, and It is now coming true in the person of the most radical left red politician ever to be elected president of the United States. Obama is Prince Prospero, except that Prospero did not summon the Red Death, and Obama has, and like Prospero, Obama will not see the end of the dance, for the American people now see Obama for what he is, and will reject him utterly.

Prince Prospero has just announced

A ball, with gaiety pronounced

And wit and lively music for the dance

While through the land the red death roams

As people lose both jobs and homes

And liberty and freedom have no chance

The Prince has turned the White House rooms

Into the shades of flowered blooms

With blue and green and bright red colored walls

In costume dancers swing and sway

And drink and laugh the night away

Don’t go into this room. Prospero calls

Into the ball there comes a wraith

Who says we must have hope and faith

A place of worship, holy prayer and grace

The features of the wraith are black

His costume torn and tattered sack

With blood and terror written on his face

He strides with arrogance each room

Pronouncing all will meet their doom

And strides into the room now black and red

Prospero follows in his wake

Apology he needs to make

But when he sees the wraith the Prince falls dead

And so it goes with those who dance

And think the Left a true romance

And being nice and bowing to the foe

Is just a sign of gentlemen

Who do not see the moment when

The red death is upon them and they go

Merkel To Obama: Machts Nichts!

August 30th, 2010

Earlier this summer President Obama urged the Europeans to increase their stimulus spending, arguing that only by running up huge and unsustainable debt could countries avoid a damaging recession. Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany, replied that Germany would not listen to such nonsense, but would cut back on its spending and rely on the German economy to work its way out without further government interference. The idea of not relying on the government for everything is anathema to those of Obama’s stripe, and so the president was entirely discomfited by what he undoubtedly thought was lese majeste. How dare the mere Chancellor of Germany defy the Anointed One? But she did, and the results proved her right and Obama wrong. Not that he would ever admit it. And what is worse, from Obama’s point of view, is that other countries are going along with Merkel.

Obama’s wagons in a circle

Thanks to a feisty Mrs, Merkel

She who says the debt’s too high

The poor want bread, we give them pie

Obama says the public knows

That only as the spending grows

Will countries avoid nineteen thirty

He knows because a little birdy

Told him that increasing debt

Is chancy, but the way to bet

But Angela just sits and smirks

She knows what’s right and knows what works

Don’t Mess With Texas

August 27th, 2010

The Obama administration is determined to destroy the economy of the United States through Cap and Trade, an enormous tax on energy that would drive the cost of energy sky high and cause many businesses to fail and jobs to be lost. The administration does not consider failed businesses and lost jobs to be a bug, but a feature, a sure-fire means to ensure the peaceful devolution of the United States from what it has been for over two hundred years to something more to Obama’s liking, a failed socialist state. The problem for Obama is that even a Democrat controlled Congress refused to pass a Cap and Trade bill, and so Obama has ordered the Environmental Protection Agency to enforce the provisions of Cap and Trade as if a bill has passed and was law. To this end the EPA has sent a letter to the states demanding fealty (read Subservience) to the EPA. The Attorney General of Texas has written back to the EPA telling them in no uncertain terms where they can shove their fealty and their demands. As President Bush used to say, Don’t mess with Texas.

In Texas it is understood

When needed guys like John Bell Hood

And Sam and Davy come to join the fight

The Texicans don’t take no sass

The good old boys will rise en masse

They’ll grab their guns and dammit set things right

The EPA can send out rules

In crayon wrote by lefty fools

And order folks to do things they want done

There’s places that will knuckle down

And bow before Obama’s crown

But not in Texas cry each native son

Proposition 8

August 25th, 2010

In California a Democrat appointed Federal judge named Vaughn Walker has ruled that his one vote outweighs the millions of votes of people who disagree with him on the subject of gay marriage. The judge has ruled that Proposition 8, calling for marriage to be defined as a union between one man and one woman, passed by the California legislature and the people of California and upheld by the California Supreme Court, is irrational and has no societal benefit. So that is where we are. One supremely liberal and some say homosexual judge can overturn the will of the people at a whim. We no longer have rule by the people through their elected representatives, and have not had such a society for a long time. We are ruled by a non-elected judiciary, and have been for the last fifty or sixty years. Elections matter. Vote Democrat and you get judges like Vaughn Walker, who believe deep in their beings, that they know best. It matters not that implementation of the ruling has been delayed. What matters is that this is just another example of judicial arrogance.

It matters not the Golden State

Supreme Court ruled one way

You simply find a federal judge

Who likes things nice and gay

The courts are not like they once were

Arbiters of the law

Today they rule their leftist views

Their partisanship raw

The left has truly left its mark

The law is what they say

The constitution was all right

But it has seen its day

The country once had solemn faith

That law would be upheld

Today the law is leftist law

The doomsday bell has knelled

Camel Farts

August 23rd, 2010

We left our two Arab friends from a previous post (What Have You Done For Me Lately) – August 18), discussing Obama by their desert fire and preparing for bed, undecided whose camel would be queen for the night. We find them the following morning around the breakfast fire still talking about Obama and how he has disappointed them and the entire Ummah.

I tell you sir, the first man said

He promised us the earth

He promised he would kill the Jews

He hasn’t proved his worth

I much prefer that Farsi guy

He’s nuts, I like his style

Not Arab, no, but that’s okay

He’s full of cunning guile

I quite agree, the other said

I’m disappointed too

You’d think a man who’s named Hussein

Would gladly kill the Jew

We’ve got to look for other guys

To lead us to the top

Not cheer us on one day and then

The next day tell us stop

I cannot stand a squishy man

No courage, no nor heart

I wouldn’t give him time of day

Or one small camel fart

And speaking thus of camel farts

The first man softly said

I know not what you feed your beast

But she farts all night in bed

The Scorpion And The Swimmer

August 20th, 2010

Hamas and Hezbollah have rearmed to the point where Israel must certainly do something, if only in self defense. Between them they have over 100,000 short and medium range rockets capable of hitting every target in Israel, and await only the word from Iran to launch another round in the ongoing but undeclared war between Israel and Iran. Into this quagmire the United States has stepped, trying to resolve the unresolvable, insisting that the two sides sit down in a friendly fashion and hammer out their differences. But there is an ancient story in the Middle East about a scorpion and a swimmer. The story is being played out again, with the United States playing the part of the swimmer.

Let me climb upon your back

Said the scorpion with a smile

For I have business to discuss

Across this wide wide Nile

You can’t fool me the swimmer said

For once upon my back

You’ll raise your stinger in the air’

And launch a sneak attack

The scorpion recoiled in shock

How can you think it so

For if I do then I must die

Along with you I go

All right the swimmer said at last

And helped him climb aboard

And in the middle of the Nile

The rider drew his sword

And plunged it deep into the back

And killed the swimming beast

The scorpion said as he went down

Well, that’s the Middle East

What Have You Done For Me Lately?

August 18th, 2010

President Obama is astonished that the Arab and Muslim world does not view him as anointed and holy, and is wonderfully perplexed that they see him as weak and vacillating, and above all a man of many promises who has not fulfilled any of them. They expected the first Muslim president to kill all the Jews for them, to cure the many ills caused by others that befall the worthy disciples of Mohammed, and in short, to deliver the West in general and the United States in particular, into their hands. In this he has failed, though not for lack of trying. Arabs, however, do not count trying as a virtue. They want results, and they want them now.

The desert moon now shining bright

The camels tucked in for the night

The fire banked to just a glow

An Arab spat and said, you know

That hopey changey guy’s a fraud

He promised us that we’d be awed

By all the wondrous things he’d do

I haven’ seen a thing, have you?

The other Arab sighed and spat

He dissed the Jews, but what is that

He said that Palestine was ours

That he and all the other powers

Would force the Jews off of our land

But here we are, still pounding sand

No better off the first guy said

It’s late and time to go to bed

A little love before the snores

My camel now, tomorrow yours

The Mosque Of The Red Death

August 16th, 2010

President Obams, in a speech delivered during the White House Ramadan dinner honoring Muslims, declared he was all in favor of building a mosque a few feet away from the site of the attack by Muslims on the Twin Towers that killed over 3,000 Americans. The only reason the Muslims want the mosque so close to Ground Zero, as everyone, including Obama knows, is to shove a sharpened stick into the eye of the Great Satan. But then, did not Obama promise us that in any dispute between us and the Muslims he would be on the side of the Muslims?

Blameless lives and silver planes

Buildings down in fiery rains

Muslims cheering in the streets

Glorying in Muslim feats

Now a mosque they wish to build

Near the site the bodies filled

Smiling slyly as they claim

We are not the ones to blame

Gentle lefties take the hands

Of the killers whose demands

Lefty leaders bow to grant

Sneering at the people’s chant

That to build there’s a disgrace

And are told to mind their place

We have news for those who would

Build a mosque where once there stood

Buildings filled with kin and friends

Whose killers now Barack defends

Build your mosque in New York town

Don’t be surprised when it comes down

Along with all the Muslim dreck

Who think they have the right to wreck

The lives and dreams of other men

The 52s will show them when

We’ve had enough of killer’s ways

The end is coming, count the days
