So Hillary took the fall and fell on her sword for Obama, declaring, in the face of all evidence to the contrary, that she was responsible for the lack of security at the Benghazi consulate that took the lives of our ambassador to Libya and three other Americans. One wonders what inducement Obama made to the Secretary of State to induce her to absolve Obama from blame? For starters, it’s a win-win for Hillary. If Obama loses the election nothing she says now will matter in the slightest. But if he happens to win, then there’s a payoff. And what could that payoff be? A nomination to the Supreme Court? The Democratic nomination for president in 2016? My guess is Hillary is aiming for the top, and the top is the presidency, and being a Clinton, if only by bogus marriage, she believes the White House is hers by right of inheritance.
