At one time it was thought the United States was governed by the best and the brightest. If it was ever true it is no longer. Today we are not governed, but ruled, by the seemingly dumbest among us, though there is some evidence their seeming stupidity is really not stupidity at all, but rather artful sabotage of the best interests of the United States.

The best and brightest are in the long snore

The worst of the dumbest now rules

Mubarak and Assad, Khaddafi  and more

Are gone at the will of the fools

Who either believe the left nonsense they spew

Or determined to do us great harm

It all goes against us whatever they do

And it’s working so far like a charm
