Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of Deference, traveled recently to Egypt to beg Mohamed Morsi, the newly elected terrorist Muslim Brotherhood President of Egypt, to keep his word and rule democratically, all the while remaining a staunch and true friend of the United States.  She was pelted with tomatoes and shoes for her pains, causing her to hum that old Sinatra tune Can’t We Be Friends.

 

I took each word he said as gospel truth

The way a silly little child would.
I can’t excuse it on the grounds of youth,
I was no babe in the wild, wild wood.
He didn’t mean it,
I should have seen it,
but now it’s too late.

I thought I’d found the guy of my dreams,
now it seems,
this is how the story ends:

I thought for once it couldn’t go wrong,
not for long,
I can see the way this ends:

Why should I care though he gave me the air,
Why should I cry,
heave a sigh,

I thought I found a guy I could trust,
watta bust, this is how the story ends:
