Euripides

Henry Chao, the deputy chief information officer for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, was asked by Congressman Cory Gardner, R-Colo, why the Obamacare rollout was such a disaster. Chao replied that it was because much of it had not yet been built. Imagine that. Three years and 600 million dollars later much of the website had not yet been built. Was the waste of time and money because the contract was given to a friend of Michelle Obama? Nah, that couldn’t be it. Could it be because the Canadian outfit they gave the contract to had no experience designing complicated websites? Nah. The Obama administration had given billion dollar contracts out to friends before and it turned out all right. Remember Solyndra, who took their half billion dollars and promptly declared bankruptcy? How much of that do you think wound its way back to the proper hands? And the Chicago battery company that did the same thing? And you wonder where the Democrat National Committee gets the money to steal elections? And these people want to run one sixth of the country’s economy? But it’s all coming apart, isn’t it?

Whom the gods wish to destroy they first make mad. – Euripides

Just tell me please
Euripides
Why such as these
Still live and get to linger
I’ll not be coy
‘Twould give such joy
Should gods destroy
And give them all the finger
