As Europeans negotiate their enormous debt crisis, they look longingly across the Atlantic for rescue. But the cavalry is in no condition to rescue anybody, including themselves. If you think the Little Big Horn was bad, wait till you see the blood if Bernanke tries to bail out the EU.
Tectonic plates are moving
Fault lines are being drawn
The fault of course is ours
If Europe has no dawn
With US down to pennies
In our own piggy bank
The Euros now expect us
To walk off that short plank
The bugle calls they’re hearing
Stay distant in the hills
The cavalry’s not moving
That’s just close order drills
So sorry guys we’re broke too
The cav we cannot muster
We know that if we send them
It will be another Custer
