The World’s Most Brilliant Man

Valerie Jarrett, President Obama’s chief advisor, recently wrote: “I think Barack knew that he had God-given talents that were extraordinary. He knows exactly how smart he is. .He knows how perceptive he is. He knows what a good reader of people he is. And he knows that he has the ability, the extraordinary, uncanny ability, to take a thousand different perspectives, digest them and make sense out of them, and I think that he has never really been challenged intellectually. So what I sensed in him was not just a restless spirit but somebody with such extraordinary talents that had to be really taxed in order for him to be happy. He’s been bored to death his whole life. He’s just too talented to do what ordinary people do.” I spoke to another woman named Valerie the other day who gushingly said that Barack Obama was the most brilliant man who ever lived, and she was ecstatic that she lived at the same time as he, for there would never be another such brilliance for a thousand years.

And so his brilliance fevered shines
And lights the skies for miles around
He deigns to speak with lesser minds
And loves when someone stands his ground
Life’s problems seem to him so small
The larger picture claims his thought
The mundane interests not at all
And even briefings count for naught
So far above our intellect
What happens is of no concern
He never seems to recollect
What took so many years to learn
God gave him talents none before
Had ever claimed or would again
He knows his lofty IQ score
Is higher than all mortal men
He’s happiest when truly taxed
A challenge wakens up his brain
A brain that’s never fully maxed
But knows to come in from the rain
And yet we wonder why this man
Endowed with heaven’s greatest gift
Makes such mistakes in short a span
And leaves our friends so sorely miffed

The Plan Is Working

Everyone is cheering at the supposed demise of Obamacare due to the catastrophic rollout and the millions of people who suddenly find themselves without insurance they thought they had. Hold the huzzahs, boys, Obamacare might not be working, but the Obama plan is working well. Obamacare was designed to fail, and when, in the very near future, it dies, the real plan takes its place. Did not Harry Reid say, not five minutes after Obamacare was passed, that it was a good first step to a Single Payer system? He did, and when the cheering stops you will find yourself and your family in the firm and loving grip of a government that cares only that you now belong to them, forever and ever.

Ingenious is the master plan
Obamacare will fail
And when the offal hits the fan
And folks begin to wail
The Dems will then rush in its place
The plan that all along
They wanted, one that’s on its face
Is law, if right or wrong
We’ll buy the single payer plan
The government decrees
Insurance built for every man
Who’s easy now to please
Because Obamacare has left
Vast numbers uninsured
And left the middle class bereft
Of hope, and thus implored
To save the elderly and sick
Obama smiles and says
I tell you boys, that sure was slick
It’s great to be the prez

The Benjamins

In George Orwell’s Animal Farm the animals decide to create a world where everyone is equal. Of course it didn’t turn out that way. The original seven commandments had to be reduced to one which was posted on the wall. Clover, the cow, could not read the new commandment because of failing eyesight, and so Benjamin, the donkey, read it to her. The remaining commandment read: ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL BUT SOME ANIMALS ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS”. It is always all about the Benjamins.

The very people who got Nafta’d
Are now the ones Obama shafted
The unions now, forever slaverous
Are now unhappy but palaverous
They know the Dems will make it right for them
And in return they’ll vote all night for them
With subsidies for all illegals
And waivers for the little piggles
Those bureaucrats with jumped up pay scale
And jump suit guys in by the bay jail
The end result of Care Omama
Is Death Panels for your old momma
It doesn’t matter if you’re healthy
The poor are equal with the wealthy
It’s quite a country O’s created
Where all are equal and all are hated

The View From Across The Pond

Liberal British pundits at the Guardian and London Dail Mail newspapers are declaring that America is becoming ungovernable because of Republican obstreperousness. How dare they try to block Obamacare, how dare they oppose what the Lightworker is trying to do to the country? Daily Mail Editor Max Hastings writes that the breakdown is because Republican politicians have forgotten that America has traditionally been ruled by whoever outpolls the other. I have read all of Max Hastings’ military history, and highly recommend them, but I don’t think he is an authority on the American political system that was deliberately designed to produce friction, if not gridlock, the better to control the political class. That the gridlock has reached the point where the two parties are now scorpions in the proverbial bottle is a temporary phenomenon, to be resolved by the voters electing one of the scorpions to ultimate power.

The Daily Mail
Has without fail
Been in the Lefty corner
Wins by the Right
Election night
Makes them a sobbing mourner
Believe me, Max
The spend and tax
Blue Model is a’waning
And very soon
The crying Loon
Announces it is raining
So just for now
Just take a bow
Your latest on the Great War
Is simply great
But let me state
Your punditry’s a great bore

A Third Party

The Democratic Party has been captured by the radical and violent Left, who do not give up power willingly once they’ve seized it, and it doesn’t look like the current edition of the Republican Party is about to take it away from them. The country needs a new political party, a party of first principles, a party that will retake the country from the radical Left and restore Democracy. Call it the Tea Party, call it what you will, but the time is growing short. One more radical Left White House and Senate will undo us, and turn us into Greece or maybe even Zimbabwe.

When a woman with pretensions
And a man with bad intentions
Have an offspring like Barack you know it’s wrong
You don’t know what he is made of
‘Til you get what you’re afraid of
And too late you see the black of night grows long

It’s too late that we’re dejected
How could he be re-elected
Is the cry we hear from people stone bereft
For the Democrats of Truman
Are all dead ‘mid roses bloomin’
And the party has been captured by the Left
Yes the crazies are in charge now
Like a runaway coal barge now
That goes raging down the river smashing things
The Repubs no longer fight them
They hold candles just to light them
On the path that leads to what the chaos brings
Yes we need a new Third Party
Need it now let’s not be tardy
For the times are marching on and freedom’s still
The best thing the Founders gave us
And we need them now to save us
And return the shining city on the hill

A Pyrrhic Victory

The recent shutdown of the government showed who has the real power in Washington, and it isn’t the Republicans. There are those who say the Democrat victory was a Pyrrhic one, but I’m not so sure. I think the talk of an Obama Pyrrhic victory is just Republican whistling past the graveyard. Republicans do Pyrrhic victories, Democrats don’t. I have often thought I am doomed to live to be 115, spending my advanced middle age living in a declining socialist paradise. I was too optimistic. The decline is here already, and Paradise is just around the corner. Right now I’d take any kind of victory, no matter how Pyrrhic.

When a victory is Pyrrhic
Then the music can’t be lyric
For the notes sound hollow in a minor chord
But the question’s who’s the loser
Not Obama then the Cruzer
Who drove the train with no one else aboard
I suspect we know the answer
It’s that artful Senate dancer
Mitch McConnell who got something for his State
Got some pork and got some gravy
‘Nuff to float Kentucky’s navy
Now the voters plan on giving him the gate
Yes Obama won the battle
Paid no mind to Repubs prattle
There was nothing Pyrrhic ‘bout the whole affair
The Obama State is here and
We have nothing left to fear and
We’ll just all relax and love Obamacare

Because Of You

Read ‘em and weep, oh Obamanoid. Despair, if you are a patriotic American and not an Obamanoid, at the sheer incompetence of the administration, and the man, who never should have been elected president of this country. Despair of the looming catastrophe of Obamacare, despair of Benghazi, Afghanistan, Syria, Iran and the complete and utter failure of the Obama foreign policy that has now led the Saudis to announce they are through with the United States because the president can no longer be trusted to keep his word or even to tell the truth. Through tear dimmed eyes a disillusioned Obamanoid gazes sorrowfully at a worn photograph of a smiling Barack Obama and sings softly of her disappointment. With apologies to Tony Bennett.

Because of you our romance had its start
But now I feel there’s no song in my heart
Because of you the sun won’t shine
The moon and stars no longer mine
The sorrow is never to part
I only lived for your hope and your change
And then you turned into something real strange
Because of you my life is not worthwhile
And I can’t smile
Because of you
You turned into someone I didn’t know
You broke my heart and I did love you so
Your cheating lies I didn’t mind
I knew it was because you’re kind
But now I must tell you to go
You do not care for the country at all
You do not care if it’s Springtime or Fall
Because of you my life is not worthwhile
And I can’t smile
Because of you

Empire

A great power, Carthage or Rome, Athens or Persia, Britain or the United States, is born in heightened, flaming energy and heroism, determined to climb the beckoning golden mountains shimmering brightly in the distance. Noon finds them standing on the snow capped peaks, masters of all, unaware that the sun has already begun the slow curving glide to the horizon. By mid-afternoon the once flaming energy has abated, and with the coming of dusk, the day is done, and sleep is upon them.

The dawning paints the night sky gray
And rising with the sun
The man takes up the growing day
And Empire begun
The shining mountains, caps aflame
Rise in the morning mist
He knows those mountains he must claim
‘Fore entering the list
At noon he stands on heights so cold
The morning long he climbed
The treasure peaks of shimm’ring gold
With icy diamonds rimed
Into the late day sun he sits
Upon his lofty throne
The sun the sun of Austerlitz
The world was his alone
Unto the dusk his word was king
His bidding instant done
But others struggled for his ring
And come the setting sun
The man now old laid burdens down
And entered into sleep
And dreamed the dreams of past renown
With memories to keep
While others, younger, come the dawn
Saw golden mountains glow
And to the ice rimed mountains drawn
An empire to grow

Call Center

The Obama administration has hired call centers in Mumbai, India, to handle questions about Obamacare. This is rich. The incomprehensible explained to the non-comprehending by the non-understandable. But not to worry, this is all part of the larger plan. The last thing Obama wants is for the public to understand what’s in Obamacare.

Obamacare is good for you
Your Foddah and your Muddah
Until you find Mumbai is too
The black hole of Calcutta
I tell you that Barack is sly
He sets it up so that Mumbai
Becomes the keystone of his plan
Of perfect health for every man
And every woman, pet and child
And all in reach and eas’ly dialed
Connected swiftly to a voice
You listen closely and the choice
That is presented sounds quite good
But that’s because you understood
Her words to say not what she said
But something different instead
And so you sign on dotted line
And thus avoid Obama’s fine
And then you find to your dismay
Obama had it planned this way
Confuse the caller more and more
With English accented so poor
That left is right and right is left
All proving that Barack is deft
At pulling wool down over eye
Oh yes the man is very sly

The Means And The Ends

Saudi Arabia has turned down the invitation to sit on the UN Security Council, in protest of Obama’s cozying up to their mortal enemy Iran. Are the Saudis truly upset with Obama? Probably not. They’re just going on record, for they know full well Obama does not have the means to gain his ends. They understand that makes the situation dangerous, but they are confident their money and influence in the region can contain the loose cannon in the White House.

George Bush gave Texas Howdys
To his friends the oil rich Saudis
And son W of course did much the same
And the Saudis they were loyal
Just so long we bought their oyal
It meant nothing, just the way you played the game
But Obama knowing nothin’
Of the feudin’ and the futhin’
That went on between the White House and Riyadh
Had his eye on a grand bargain
With Iran and so his jargon
Always ended with the words So Help Me God
Words that left the Mid-east scoffin’
As Iran prepared the coffin
For our friends and allies ‘Bama set adrift
Mid-east teeth were set to gnashin’
Some amused and some with passion
And the Saudis let it known that they were miffed
Now it’s come to O’s attention
That his very least intention
Causes hurt and doubt with those who thought us friends
But Obama is contriteless
As in Gaza he is sightless
And the Saudis know his means won’t buy his ends
