John Bell Hood

Recent events at Fort Hood, in Texas, where a Muslim officer shouting Allahu Akbar! (God is great) shot and killed 12 unarmed soldiers and wounded some 38 more, as he was directed to do by his holy book, the Koran, where it is stated that all non-muslims must be killed. Upon being told, the President of the United States, who immediately jumped to the conclusion that a white police officer was wrong in a confrontation with a black man, immediately warned us not to jump to any conclusions about the shooter being Muslim. Political correctness is killing us. No matter how many Muslims kill how many Americans, we are constantly told that Islam is a religion of peace, when the evidence of our eyes is that it is not a religion of peace, but a religion of murder. Islam is again on the march, as it was at Lepanto, Poitiers, the gates of Vienna, and elsewhere until submerged by a Christian Europe. The problem is, there is no more Christian Europe, or a Christian United States. The only region of the Western world where religion is still a unifying force is the United States South, and if the United States is to be saved, it is the South that will save it. People in other parts of the country will defend the country, but they will not defend Christianity against Islam, believing, as they do, that one religion is as good as, or as bad as, another. Perhaps Fort Hood, named after Civil War Confederate general John Bell Hood, is premonitional. When the fight for the survival of Christianity comes, maybe it will be John Bell Hood and his Texans who will deliver us.

John Bell Hood, strapped to his horse

His wooden leg askew

Atop a hill, in front of course

Surveyed the line of blue

The heat haze shimmered on the land

The blue line turned to ghosts

And in its place now close at hand

Came screaming Muslim hosts

Their green flags snapping in the breeze

Arms glinting in the sun

Bell’s Texans gave a gentle squeeze

On triggers, one by one

The Muslims staggered then they fell

Bell cried the colors front

And with a roar the rebel yell

Sent every Texas grunt

To racing down the scrub laced hill

Flags snapping in the wind

Determined not to stop until

The Muslim host was pinned

Upon their shining bayonets

And driven from the field

Back to their sand and minarets

Or death if they’d not yield

The shimmered air turned hot and dry

Bell sheathed his bloody sword

A good day’s work he heard men cry

Bell quietly said For’ard

His men slung arms and formed in ranks

Their duty rightly done

They marched all day with nation’s thanks

Into the setting sun

What Is Is

Almost one year into the Obama administration, we have repeatedly seen instances of nuance from the president, from telling Jewish groups he was boycotting the UN racism conference while at the same time telling civil rights groups the United States would attend, to nuanced foreign policy, as when he told the Poles and Czechs he would go forward with the missile shield while at the same time assuring Putin that he would not. The admirers of the president like to call this nuance. We call it something else. We call it double dealing. We call it deceit. We call it lying. We call it the Chicago way.

Well I’ll be darned, if it aint so

I never thought I’d live to

See the day the saintly O

Would stoop so low to give two

Versions of the same deceit

He always likes to practice

With answers sharp but incomplete

Like spines upon a cactus

That stick you just about the time

You’ve bought the thing he sells you

And then you find taint worth a dime

To anything he tells you

To say he’s nuanced would be wrong

I say the man just misses

The shiftiness that must belong

To the man who said, …”what is is”

Designer Kids

RNL Bio, a South Korean biotech firm, is preparing to open a dog cloning center in early 2010 capable of cloning up to 1,000 dogs a year by 2013. The firm says it has already cloned a dog capable of sniffing cancer in humans, and South Korea already employs a number of cloned drug sniffing dogs. It would seem there is more going on than just cloning, for to produce a dog capable of sniffing out cancer in humans requires some re-jiggering of the DNA, otherwise why bother with cloning, why not just train a dog to sniff cancer? And if they are re-jiggering doggie DNA, why not human DNA? If you can design a dog, why not a human?

So now we have designer kids

Where mom can pick the eyebrows

Are we truly on the skids?

Or is this just for highbrows

I kinda like old fashioned things

Like late night making babies

The same for lowlifes and for kings

Mom’s babes and daddy’s maybes

If my mom had a choice to make

Would I be here to write this

Or would a different course she’d take

And go for much more brightness

Would she perchance want something more

Than I could ever give her

A seven footer who could score

A money torrent river

A movie star, a logger man

A Nobel Peace prize winner

But no, she got a blogger man

An ordinary sinner

If my conception wasn’t like

My mother would have wished

At least I wasn’t just a spike

In some old Petri dish

It Isn’t Treason If The Left Does It

Amazingly enough, now that the Democrats are in power, the CIA, the New York Times and the Washington Post all sing a different tune than they sang when the hated and evil George W. Bush was in the White House. Then, listening in on terrorist phone calls from overseas was cause for outrage, but when the Democratic Congress re-authorized the Patriot Act there was not a peep against it. When Obama continued the Bush program of rendition, sending terrorists to their native countries where American sensibilities regarding interrogation methods are looked on with amusement, the left nodded its collective head in agreement even though they were furiously against it when Bush was doing it. Today the CIA no longer routinely leaks sensitive classified material to the New York Times, for they did so in the past only in order to embarrass President Bush, regardless of the harm such leaks might do the country. No, detailing the secret methods used to collect terrorist phone calls was not treason, it was patriotism of the highest order, as was the leaking of an NIE assessment that said that Iran had stopped its attempt to build a nuclear weapon in 2003, an assessment that is clearly now seen to be entirely inaccurate and politically motivated. The lefty patriots at the New York Times and the CIA were only doing God’s work, not that they believe in God, but God’s work nonetheless, trying their best to destroy the duly elected president, the only menace to the United States, the evil BushHitler.

Treason is as treason does

But when shove comes to push

It’s only treason when and if

You’re on the side of Bush

The New York Times can print it all

The CIA can leak

The Dems in Congress cheer them on

They cry to let them speak

We listen in on terror plots

The papers scream in rage

Iran will never get the bomb

Move on, just turn the page

The Left reports our every act

As murderous and vile

And undermine us every chance

While smiling all the while

If this be treason some would say

They’ve got it down so well

There’s got to be a special place

For them in Lefty hell

Let Me ‘Splain Things To You

The Iranian government called for an anti-American rally in downtown Teheran to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the takeover of the American embassy in 1979. Much to their surprise, a counter pro-America anti-mullah demonstration erupted, requiring force to suppress. Robert Gibbs, the president’s spokesperson to the official state run media, calmly and dispassionately explained the happenings in Iran, and the election returns in New Jersey and Virginia.

Events abroad, said Robert Gibbs

Like protests in Iran

Just give the lie to Repub fibs

That president’s a fan

Of Ahmadinejad and friends

And mullahs far and near

He doesn’t like their means or ends

And I should make it clear

He’s on the side of those who cry

For freedom’s golden crown

And march e’en though they may well die

In Teheran’s downtown

As for elections late last night

The Repubs made a botch

By veering far off to the right

Even though he did not watch

New Jersey now we did just fine

We thought we’d lose it big

But people there just love Corzine

And Christie is a pig

Virginia rednecks came to prance

And voted red in droves

And after that they stayed to dance

Buck naked in the groves

I’m telling you a Repub vote

Means anarchy and crime

But now that Dems still own this boat

They’ll only vote one time

For as you know it’s we who show

Compassion for the poor

And those who voted red should know

We’ll even up the score

Under The Lenin Tree

What is the difference between socialism and fascism? Nothing, except perhaps who benefits. Socialism claims benefits for the minority, the immigrant, the disadvantaged, while fascism benefits the native-born and the workers. Europe has seen a shift in recent years from out and out socialist rule to European style right-of-center rule. Both are socialist in outlook, and both preside over a diminishing State and society, wracked by multi-culturalism, declining birth rates and rising Muslim immigration that threatens the very existence of European society and culture dating back thousands of years. The soft socialism of the European Left is gradually giving way to the soft socialism of the European Right, the Fascists. In Britain the British Nationalist Party is in the way of winning the next election and seizing control of the British government, precisely because they are telling the indigenous British people that bending the knee to Islam at the expense of the common British working man is at an end. The BNP do not propose an end to the British socialist State, only the return of the benefits to the native-born. The problem for Europe is that the demise of soft socialism/fascism leads inevitably to the rise of hard fascism as people become increasingly aware that soft socialism/fascism has no answers to the problems of unassimilated Islamic immigrants, declining birthrates and increasing joblessness. Of course, we have seen this all before. Russia is already a hard fascist State, and the clock is ticking for the rest of Europe. The lesson should not be lost on us, as the United States stands at a crossroads, having elected a president who is determined to take the country down the path to European style soft socialism. Should he succeed, history has shown the future – democracy to socialism to authoritarianism. It’s our choice.

Ah there, my friend, come rest with me

Under the flowering Lenin tree

We’ve room for many more on yonder hill

They’re waiting for us, all my friends

Those cheery men whose very ends

Bespoke the very nature of the will

That’s it, my friend, just fall in line

Please follow me and you’ll be fine

A few more steps and you shall see the tree

And under it a few good men

Just waiting for the right time when

They’ll walk the earth again to set men free

Yes free from bourgeois thoughts and dreams

And free from priests and all their schemes

The freedom to be you and yours alone

The freedom to lead fruitful lives

With great rewards for he who strives

And in the end the State a bare dry bone

Ah here we are, Adolf you know

And Josef here will kindly show

How people of your sort can gain control

Of states that worship not their God

Dismissing Him with just a nod

While claiming there’s no such thing as a soul

I’m Vladimir sir, by the way

And I am pleased to hear you say

That state control can only set men free

That’s something we have said for years

It seems enough to calm most fears

Come sit beside me ‘neath the Lenin tree

I Can Dream, Can’t I?

After World War 1 the German government of the Weimar Republic experienced a period of hyperinflation from 1921 to 1923, brought on, in part, by the war reparations inflicted on Germany by the Versailles Treaty ending the war, a war Germany lost but did not start. The London Conference of 1921 at which Britain and France demanded the reparations be paid in gold was the tipping point. In 1918 one gold German mark was equal to one paper German mark. By the end of 1923 one gold German mark was equal to one trillion paper German marks. Are we heading for a similar hyperinflation? The signs are not good. The Obama administration has saddled the US with trillions upon trillions of debt as far into the future as the eye can see. Foreign countries are looking around for an alternate reserve currency, and if that happens oil will no longer be priced in dollars, which means the US Treasury will have to buy whatever currency is then the world reserve. When the dollar is no longer the world’s reserve currency China will no longer buy our Treasury bills. What happens when China demands hard currency for the trillions of dollars in US treasuries it already owns? The next question is, is this all a part of the plan to degrade the United States, to reduce us to just another middle of the pack country, no longer the hyperpower, no longer the big kid on the block? There are some, perhaps many, in the Democratic party who would like to see the United States brought down a peg or two. Is massive debt and the destruction of the currency the Left’s dream of gaining permanent control of a weakened United States?

In Weimar people cried Why me?

As savings turned to smoke

A lifetime’s earnings now a sea

Of debt and in their poke

Instead of solid paper cash

That once bought bread and wine

They found the paper money trash

A billion marks to dine

The middle class gone in a trace

The solid burghers done

And now the US in the race

All started by the One

Who thinks a trillion here and there

Is nothing, what the heck

With trillions more ‘til cupboard’s bare

That’s how he’s stacked the deck

We know what fate befell them next

A Hitler was his name

O dreams that with the right pretext

He too can play that game

Let not a crisis go to waste

Is O’s bright guiding light

He’s got four years, that’s why the haste

To do the darn thing right

Just grow the debt by leaps and bounds

Print money like the snow

Providing O with ample grounds

To cry the Law must go

He dreams he’ll guide the broken Ship

Of State to calmer climes

And once he has a nice firm grip

The Post and New York Times

Will name him President For Life

Obama The Supreme

And then just won’t he twist the knife

Ah but a man can dream

The Death Of Faith vs The Faith Of Death

Pope Benedict XVI has invited the Anglican clergy who forcefully disagree with the Anglican church’s position on homosexuality and women priests to come into the Roman Catholic fold. It is feared by some that if the disaffected Anglican priests accept the offer it will be the end of the Anglican church. But such an acceptance would not signal the end of the Anglican church, that end has been in evidence for years, as the empty pews throughout the British Anglican communion and the American Episcopalian communion attest. It is not the life or death of the Anglican church that is at stake, it is the entirety of Western Christianity that is in mortal danger, from the outside by the forces of militant Islam, and from the inside by the insidious forces of the secular religion of one-worldism and its father/birthmother socialism/communism. For many years American schoolchildren have been submerged in left-wing political correctness, told there is no such thing as right and wrong, and that western civilization is an unmitigated evil thrust upon the poor and oppressed peoples of the rest of the world. Couple this PC destruction from within by the Left and the challenge from without by radical Islam, and the West, and Christianity in all its many forms, is unlikely to survive unless united under the banner of Faith.

The lost are grace

The doors swing wide

The Pope’s embrace

Please come inside

The time has fled

The hour nigh

The darkened tread

Lend death a sigh

Unite we must

Or die alone

We place our trust

In God’s true throne

The cross of God

To show the way

The sacred sod

Of Western clay

Shall not be borne

By any foe

They shall not scorn

Our culture so

The Cruses live

They have not left

Their ghosts will give

Our arms the heft

To drive the foe

From battle field

To tell him No

We will not yield

To Muslim sword

Or PC scorn

To march us toward

The life unborn

We shall prevail

Through darkest days

Through deep travail

And fearsome ways

We shall not die

Our faith will live

If you and I

Our lives will give

On The Sunni Side Of The Street

There is a civil war raging in Afghanistan and Pakistan between rival Muslim factions. Sunni Al Qaeda and the Taliban are fighting the Shi’ites for supremacy within Islam, with the United States in the middle, trying to quash the conflict. The US has succeeded in driving Al Qaeda from Iraq, with the result that the Middle East is now a backwater in the war radical Islam is waging against the West, but has had less success in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Al Qaeda and the Taliban are waging successful terror war against the Pakistani government by bombing schools and killing little girls, believing, as they do, that Allah has demanded that girls not be educated. If Al Qaeda and the Taliban succeed in toppling the Pakistani government, and if the Obama administration pulls out of Afghanistan, as it is being screamingly urged to do by the radical left base of the Democratic party, then the Taliban and Al Qaeda will control not only the Pakistani nukes, but the trained scientists of south-east Asia, something the moribund and ignorant Arabs could never supply the Jihad. If and when that happens we will be in for a whole lot of hurt. Afghanistan is important. Lose Afghanistan and you lose Pakistan. Lose them both and you might lose India. George W. Bush was right: Afghanistan was a war we must win. Unfortunately, the United States has as president a man who not so long ago said that victory was not an option.

The MSM will never say

George Bush was right in any way

Iraq was the right war at the right time

No they continue to exclaim

That patriotism is the flame

That makes them scream resisting is a crime

The Taliban makes war on girls

They hate them ‘cause their gorgeous curls

Are prettier than ones the menfolk wear

They also think that girls and schools

Will show them up as silly fools

So bombing girls and schools is price they bear

For keeping Allah’s flame alive

In every Pashtun hut and dive

In hopes of gaining power most complete

Over the West and Shi’ites too

So all belongs to Allah’s few

With dhimmis on the Sunni side of the street

Obama knows that he’s first class

That his reflection in the glass

Will cause the world to smile and have a coke

But if he caves in far Afghan

Then you can bet that to a man

The world will treat the US as a joke

And then one day and fairly soon

The nukes will fly and then the moon

And earth will look a lot alike for sure

The craters fill, the eons pause

God shakes his head in grief because

The creatures in his image are no more
