Hillary And The Brotherhood

The Muslim Brotherhood has effectively taken control of Egypt. President Morsi has removed the Generals from power and installed his own men. The Army is now in the hands General Sisi, a Muslim Brotherhood advocate. President Morsi now has power far beyond that which was wielded by Mubarak, for he is now in charge of writing the constitution and selecting the Supreme Court Council, and it is a given that the Egyptian constitution will be a Sharia enshrining document. There is no point in telling Obama and Hillary I told you so, because this outcome is what they wanted all along, at least to judge by the cooing from Washington to these dangerous developments.

As the MB takes Hill’s kissies

Egypt’s soldiers now are Sisi’s

Which is why the IDF now has a smile

And since Barack has no spine I

Think that we’ll soon see the Sinai

Be the road the IDF takes to the Nile

As the Islamists take over

Promising a life of clover

All the while forbidding girls to go to school

And the country falls to ruin

From the royal all ‘round screwin’

Up by Barack and his Sec of Stately fool

Not to worry they’re in duck mode

So they’ll send them by the truck load

Money that we taxpayers will gladly pay

Yes we know what Egypt’s doing

They are billing and they’re couping

But it all will end come this Election Day

The Reluctant Warrior

In 2008 the women and grown children of this country elected, in their wisdom, a man totally unfit to be President of the United States. But that didn’t matter to the Obama girls and boys. He was black and he was cool, and if that isn’t enough qualification to be president than what is? And now, almost four years later, we find our leader is leading from behind, from behind all manner of things, from teleprompters to Hillary’s skirts. What the country wants and needs in the presidency is a warrior, someone who knows what is good for the country and will fight for it. Sadly, the only thing Obama fights for is the Marxist agenda he inherited from his mother and father.

Some warriors are reluctant

Some warriors quake with fear

While others get grim faces

As enemies draw near

Obama has it covered

He is three of a kind

He’s grim faced but reluctant

And leading from behind

Reluctant to take action

Inaction’s more his style

Grim faced with teleprompters

But fearful all the while

Of losing all his voters

He hates the thought of war

And hates to make decisions

But hates this country more

Celer silens mortalis

Is foreign to this guy

And quick, silent and deadly’s

Enough to make him cry

National Parks

The Federal Government is seriously considering closing the atomic energy labs, the labs where the atomic and hydrogen bombs were created and built, and turning them into national parks and museums now that world peace is at hand and we no longer need such evil weapons. But do we really need more museum parks? We already have one of the largest in captivity. It’s called General Motors. Government research money has produced many wonders in this museum park, not the least of which is the Chevy Volt.

The government must think us dolts

Will rush to buy their Chevy Volts

Whose range is listed as four city blocks

Whose ugliness makes people stare

And thieves won’t take them on a dare

So safe they are from theft they don’t need locks

With pols and unions hand in hand

They’ve quite destroyed the GM brand

Where once the Cadillac was term of choice

For excellence and top of line

But thanks to union led decline

The buying public chose to raise its voice

And cry No more, we’ve had enough

We will not buy your shoddy stuff

We won the war but Japs have won the race

Toyotas Hondas and the lot

Have left the GM stuff to rot

And where they once were first they’re now last place

So make a nice museum park

To go with all the labs to mark

The end of our pre-eminence at last

We don’t do math, we don’t build stuff

Androgynous instead of tough

A long time climbing up but downhill fast

Illusory Correlations

Wikipedia says that illusory correlation is the phenomenon of seeing the relationship one expects even when no such relationship exists. Brian Ross of ABC News, on receiving word that the police had identified the Batman movie shooter as a James Holmes, of Aurora, Colorado, went immediately to the Tea Party website to see if the name James Holmes appeared.  It did, though if Ross had checked a bit further he would have discovered it was a different James Holmes. But of course he did not check further, and Ross breathlessly told his few listeners that the mass murderer was a member of the Tea Party, just as he and every right thinking American suspected. Of course he really meant every left thinking American, since the Left seems to believe in the correlation between the Tea Party movement and mass murder. Or at least they are prepared to spare no expense or effort in trying to convince the unwashed that there is a connection. Just as they instantly claimed, also falsely, that the shooter of Congresswoman Gabby Gifford belonged to the Tea Party.

Illusory correlation

Quite depends upon your station

For the people whom you know define your acts

If you are a Left Progressive

Then you are at times obsessive

Blaming murder on the Right despite the facts

But such claims fit the agenda

And if not then they’ll amend a

Statement made to then reflect the current theme

That the ones who do the killing

Are Tea Partiers who’re willing

To kill all who disagree and that’s their meme

And the Left, who like Rapunzels

Leave their hair down for their gunsels

And who murdered hundred millions to this date

Yes the Maos, the Stalins, Pol Pots

Who killed people by the job lots

Are beatified because ‘twas for the State

And the crazy Muslim killer

Has become the very pillar

Of the way of life the Left will force on us

He responds to Allah’s dictates

As he kills his eyelid nictates

And if militarys die then that’s a plus

Correlations thus are easy

And if some just make you queasy

Just remember that it’s for the common good

For the Left knows what’s good for you

And they’ll tell you till they bore you

That they’re pure at heart but just misunderstood

The Peaceful Garden

To the law abiding, the world is a peaceful garden, even though we all know predators and evil live with us side by side. The Colorado movie massacre reminds us again, as if we needed reminding, that predators stalk the land, killing the innocent, without remorse, and often without reason except for the evil that lives within them. But predators come in two piece suits as well, predators who seek power and money, and get it by convincing you that they are fighting for fairness, for the little guy, when all the while their only concern is for more power to tell you what to do, and when to do it. The predator in Gucci shoes and a two piece suit lurks in the shadows, the better to convince you he isn’t there. I once, as a child, came upon a black snake slowly coming up behind an immobile toad. When the flicking tongue touched the back of the toad, the hinged mouth opened wide and closed over the toad, slow motion contractions pulling the toad further and further into the snake’s mouth. The toad could easily have escaped approaching death, but at no time did it attempt to do so. I could have saved the toad at any time, but I was as hypnotized as the toad, such was the power of the snake. And such is the power of the predator, prowling the peaceful garden

Amid the lush and verdant green

In deepest dark or brightest day

Where predators are never seen

And never noticed are their prey

The law means only to these thugs

That power to them smoothly flows

And like the predatory bugs

They thrive in places no one knows

‘Twas always thus, the cynic smiles

There’s nothing new here, move along

Pretend the predator’s slick wiles

Are right and good, and can’t be wrong

The law abiding’s world, they know

Is surface tension, nothing more

And see not that deep down below

The predator has declared war

The garden teems with deadly force

With lives extinguished every breath

But all unseen, because of course

The garden hides the sight of death

Part Of The Culture

President Obama, who would never dream of praising the Jews on the occasion of Jewish High Holy Days, or telling us of the Jewish contribution to art and science, has made a ringing speech in praise of Islam, speaking in glowing terms of the contributions of Islam to our society, and reminding us all that the holy month of Ramadan is upon us, all to no one’s surprise. Barack Hussein Obama, whose very name bespeaks his inner core beliefs, has reminded us again of the great influence Islam has had on the culture and dynamism of the United States.

There are some facts so little known

That schoolboys never learn

That Islam truly can be shown

To help us make the turn

From agriculture to the mills

When factories galore

Took turbaned children from the hills

To work the cold hard floor

And after that when Orville flew

We should be told, at least

How Islam partnered in the crew

By having him face East

In World War 2 our armies sped

At speeds some were surprised

So fast that as the Nazis fled

They cried, “They’re Mecca-nized!”

Yes Islam’s influence is great

And adding to the drama

We even named a Southern state

For them, it’s Ali Bama
