Warthogs And Spectres

When the Libyan rebels took up arms against Khaddafi, the French were terrified it might mean a rise in the price of Libyan oil. To French President Sarkozy, the solution was clear: get the United States to remove Khaddafi and ensure the continued flow of Libyan oil to France. Sarkozy then got the United Nations to order the Americans to remove Khaddafi, which fit right in with the Obama administration’s desire to implement a neat little UN deal called Responsibility to Protect, or R2P. Under R2P, every nation, meaning for all practical purposes, the Unite States, has the responsibility to intervene in any nation that looks to be about to inflict a civilian catastrophe on its population. This was brought about by the world’s inaction in the Rwanda genocide, and is now the favorite weapon of White House insiders Samantha Power, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice and Gayle Smith, who are intent on using R2D against Israel for their barbaric treatment of the innocent missile firing and Jewish family murdering people of Gaza and the West Bank. So the A-10 Warthogs are called in to take out Khaddafi’s tanks, much as Susan Rice and Samantha Power want the Warthogs to take out Israeli tanks in a war of intervention a little further east. In the meantime, however, before the UN can start its war to eliminate Israel, President Sarkozy addresses the French nation, explaining the rationale for intervening in Libya.

 

 

“When fighting comes just leave it to us Frogs

We know what needs be done to do it right

I’ve ordered in the Spectres and Warthogs

This is a French led war but US fight

I’m sure the Ami will not mind a bit

If Frenchmen go to war to save our oil

When fighting comes you really must admit

We French do things accordingly to Hoyle

Khaddafi is a rogue and reprobate

No pasaran! means that they shall not pass!

He must be gone, and yes we cannot wait

We’d really love to have his oil and gas”

In a recent interview, President Obama revealed his 2012 election strategy.

 

 

I plan on telling just the truth

So entering the voting booth

The people know who’s right and know who’s wrong

We’ve fought a war but now there’s peace

Though dangers for us will not cease

And so we must be brave and must be strong

The deficit is smaller now

And jobs are growing, so’s the Dow

We’re on our way to great financial strides

We have the people who will vote

We tell them do not rock the boat

We’ll bus them to the polls sans bona fides

With Acorn and our union pals

Plus all those love Obama gals

We’ll sweep it all not lose a single state

We’ll put opponents in a box

We’ll shut down crazy things like Fox

And every other right wing voice of hate

And then it will be cool green slopes

As we fulfill the peoples’ hopes

And take this country into glory land

Your government knows what is best

You vote us in, we’ll do the rest

And once you’re down and out we’ll lend a hand

A Modern Liberal President

President Roosevelt famously said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” With the incompetent and supremely unqualified Marxist community organizer in the White House, the only thing we have to fear is President Barack Hussein Obama.

 

 

To the tune of Gilbert and Sullivan’s A Modern Major General

 

He is the very model of a modern Liberal president

He lives in White House chambers but declares he’s just a resident

He loves to dance and loves to sing

He loves the perks his job will bring

But making a decision he will always be so hesitant

He says let’s you and me will get together and we’ll get some boats

Khaddafi’s got to go and so we’ll buy some cheaper UN votes

And so he marches in and then

He marches right on out again

He grins and says you’re doin’ fine I’ll stand right here and hold your coats

Oh yes he is our president and proud we are to have him here

We like the way he bows to kings and smiles when we rise up to cheer

We like him ‘cause he’s just like us

Gals think he is a gorgeous cuss

Yes he’s our president and he’s the only thing we have to fear

 

 

Chinese Checkers

It has been revealed that vast parts of north China are a wasteland of heavily polluted land and water. The Chinese are taking advantage of the Western obsession with the pristine nature of the Great God Gaia to enrich themselves by manufacturing and mining the things the West no longer manufactures or mines for fear of harming the environment. The Chinese, of course, care not at all for the environment, caring about the bottom line being always in China’s favor. This only encourages the moonbats who believe man is a vicious despoiler of what should be a utopian and pristine earth, and in their view man should be eliminated by any means necessary. And the scam artists like Al Gore, who are trying to sell the absurd notion that carbon dioxide is killing the earth, are a bit uneasy, not wishing to offend the Chinese, the source of much of their funding, for if Al ever gets his cap and trade scheme approved Al stands to make hundreds of millions of dollars and  the Chinese stand to make many trillions of dollars.

 

 

We know the score

The great Al Gore

Thinks carbon is a killer

While other folks

Think all the jokes

Are dead as Barney Miller

Where once we laughed

We’re now so daft

Some think life should be ended

Not all of course

We’ll save the horse

But man esta delended

Meantime the Chink

In one quick blink

Has gathered all the money

So what the bees

All die with ease

They now have all the honey

Detroit has lost another sizeable chunk of its population, falling below the magic 750,000 mark, meaning less taxpayer money to pay the salaries of the city workers, the only jobs available in the mostly black, crime ridden dysfunctional city. The new mayor, a former Hall of Fame basketball player with the Pistons, has vowed to put the city back on its feet by tearing down huge chunks of it. Why is Detroit losing citizens faster than any major metropolitan city in the history of the United States? Because corruption, decades of black rule and liberal policies have driven the white and black middle classes to the suburbs, leaving the urban black ghetto with its crime and criminals in possession of a dying city, with the few remaining white neighborhoods filled with people too poor to leave and too afraid to leave their houses.

Hall Of Fame Kaline in right

Gordy never ducked a fight

The Lions silver blue

Walter Reuther holding fast

Build them cars but not to last

Nail them owners to the mast

We take no IOU

The factories shuttered one by one

The city faced the setting sun

The people left and it was done

And now the wrecking crew

Dave Bing was once a Piston guard

He played it right he played it hard

But now he plays the final card

As Detroit sinks from view

I am not at all certain we should be interfering in a civil war between people who cheered as three thousand Americans burned to death when the towers came down.

 

 

How many now remember well

That morning when the towers fell

And Libyans ran in the streets to cheer

They cheered the mighty Arab host

Who killed the people they hate most

And hate the very things that we hold dear

So why are we to risk our sons

To try to save the very ones

Who cheered the deaths of thousands on that day

I say we let them all get shot

And leave their bodies there to rot

And whistle Yankee Doodle as they pray

A Community Organizer Goes To War

The president of the United States has spoken not a word about his incursion into the Libyan civil war, and spends his time on vacation in South America, returning today to announce that he does not intend to speak about the war in Libya, does not intend to tell the American people what the mission is, what the plan is, what the end game is. He sends in the Navy and then says it’s all NATO’s show, he washes his hands of it, and the US Navy will be placed under command of a Brit or a Frenchman, or maybe some apparatchik in Brussels. He doesn’t know and doesn’t care. He has no plan, he doesn’t know what the mission is or what the end game is. Barack Obama is the most incompetent, least qualified person to ever hold the office of president of the United States. This is precisely what you get when you elect a Marxist community organizer. One does not expect competence from someone who has never so much as managed a lemonade stand.

 

 

How quiet is the world when no one listens

The whispers in the dark are scarcely heard

How silently the footsteps walk the narrows

How eager do we listen for a word

The president and sec of state not speaking

Not to each other or the world at large

The ship of state drifts slowly toward the rapids

With only grinning fools aboard in charge

One wonders if there’s policy behind it

One wonders if there’s malice in that smile

One wonders if his plan is our destruction

And actions on his part are full of guile

The world will have to pull itself together

Our allies must prepare for worse to come

If O by chance is somehow reelected

It’s bad for all but worse by far for some

Now that we have a new war to talk about the Egyptian business is now old news, still occasionally on the front page, but below the fold. Egypt, however, is not over with. In all likelihood Libya will fragment into what it always was and always will be, a tribal society, with eastern Libya, now held by the rebels, reverting to its former name of Cyrenaica. All well and good, but Cyrenaica has traditionally been part of Egypt, at least so thought the Egyptians, and Egypt would clearly love to have it back, along with its oil. So expect an Egyptian move into Cyrenaica when the time looks propitious.

 

 

Egypt’s now below the fold

All is well or so we’re told

The winner, it is understood

Is now the Muslim Brotherhood

The Army though has shining eyes

Upon the golden shimm’ring prize

With protests done, down from the boil

Their eyes are drawn to eastern oil

Benghazi now a distant dream

But soon on desert comes the stream

Of armor on the quick march west

Sent off by a UN request

They’ll claim the land again their own

Sun gods once more on Egypt’s throne

Sarkozy And Daffy

Just before the UN Resolution demanding the US go to war with Libya, Khaddafi threatened French President Sarkozy and Italian President Berlusconi, telling them that he would reveal to the world the whole rotten financial business between Khaddafi and the two of them, saying he, Khaddafi, had emails and other documents showing Sarkozy and Berlusconi had taken Libyan money over many years, most recently to finance Sarkozy’s election campaign. Sarkozy denied the charges, and Berlusconi could not be reached for comment, being on a date with a very young lady.

 

 

Things were looking rosy

For Khaddafi as Sarkozy

And that Berlusconi fellow up in Rome

Took the money with the promise

There would be no doubting Thomas

They’d support whatever Daffy did at home

But now things are looking wavy

As the mighty US Navy

Heads into the wind and planes hurl down the decks

And Kaddaffi’s troops stop grinning

As they did when they were winning

And Sarkozy smiles he never saw the checks

War Is Hell

Chief of Staff Admiral Mullen said today that the mission in Libya is to protect the civilian population and not necessarily to depose Kaddafi. If not to depose Kaddafi, then why are we there? And to make matters worse, in a few days the American navy will be placed under the command of a foreign officer. I thank our lucky stars that the United States has leaders like Obama and Hillary. Where would we be without them?

 

 

Sherman said that war is hell

He said it with a laugh

He knew in future, knew darn well

We’d do war by the half

We bring our fleets up close to shore

With CNN and Fox

Sending pictures home of war

And grinning fighter jocks

And then we find that what the heck

We do not plan to win

The plan is just to keep in check

The war as it had been

The rebels hunkered in the east

Kaddafi in the west

We have no interest in the least

In who we like the best

And what is more at O’s demand

That soon the big ship’s bell

Will toll a Brit or Frog command

I tell you war is hell
